Protected by the Superintendence for Fine Arts, the building has been restored to preserve its original charm, reviving 19 elegant residences, an inner courtyard adorned with floral and faunal sgraffito motifs, and a multi-level villa with a private garden and independent entrance from Via Bronzetti. Rethink Energy Srl was responsible for the design of the mechanical, electrical, and special systems, integrating advanced technological solutions to ensure comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability, while respecting the building’s historical and architectural significance. The project, designed by DFA Partners, is promoted by the Ca’ Granda Fund, managed by Investire SGR, with exclusive marketing entrusted to BNP Paribas Real Estate. #HistoricBuildingReimagined Nel cuore del quartiere Risorgimento, a pochi passi dal centro storico di Milano, sorge “Corte Incanto”, un prestigioso palazzo d’epoca dei primi del Novecento, oggetto di un attento intervento di riqualificazione edilizia. L’edificio, tutelato dalla Sovrintendenza delle Belle Arti, è stato restaurato per preservarne il fascino originario, riportando in vita 19 dimore di pregio, una corte interna decorata con motivi floreali e faunistici a graffito, e una villa su più livelli con giardino privato e ingresso indipendente da Via Bronzetti. Rethink Energy Srl ha curato la progettazione degli impianti meccanici, elettrici e speciali, integrando soluzioni tecnologiche avanzate per garantire comfort, efficienza energetica e sostenibilità, in armonia con il valore storico e architettonico dell’edificio. #LiquidCooledSupercomputing Rethink Energy Srl provided the integrated mechanical, electrical, and special systems design for a new High Performance Computing (HPC) facility, developed to host a 1 MW IT power supercomputer. The system is based on HPE Direct Liquid Cooling technology, one of the most advanced solutions for high-efficiency thermal management in high-density environments. The project implemented a fanless direct-to-chip liquid cooling architecture, achieving up to a 90% reduction in cooling energy consumption compared to traditional air-based systems. This approach enabled higher rack density, improved space utilization, and significantly reduced the environmental footprint of the infrastructure, aligning with the latest sustainability standards for next-generation data centers. #LiquidCooledSupercomputing Rethink Energy Srl ha curato la progettazione integrata degli impianti meccanici, elettrici e speciali per un nuovo centro High Performance Computing (HPC), progettato per ospitare un supercomputer da 1 MW di potenza IT. Il sistema si basa sulla tecnologia HPE Direct Liquid Cooling, una delle soluzioni più avanzate oggi disponibili per il raffreddamento ad alta efficienza in ambienti ad alta densità. Il progetto ha previsto l’adozione di una architettura fanless a raffreddamento diretto a liquido, in grado di ridurre fino al 90% il consumo energetico per il raffreddamento rispetto ai sistemi ad aria convenzionali. Questa scelta ha permesso di massimizzare la densità dei rack, ottimizzare l’utilizzo degli spazi tecnici e ridurre in modo significativo l’impatto ambientale dell’infrastruttura, in linea con i più recenti criteri di sostenibilità applicati ai data center di ultima generazione. The project involved replacing the existing thermal system with a high-efficiency heat pump featuring heat recovery, aiming for decarbonization and a reduction in CO₂ emissions. The new system was configured with a 4-pipe network and fan coil units, allowing simultaneous heating and cooling management for each zone, enhancing indoor comfort and energy efficiency. #ILLVASustainabilityPath Nell’ambito del percorso di sostenibilità intrapreso da ILLVA Saronno, Rethink Energy Srl ha curato la progettazione integrata degli impianti meccanici ed elettrici per la riqualificazione del palazzo uffici presso la sede di Saronno. L’intervento ha previsto la sostituzione del sistema termico esistente con una pompa di calore ad alta efficienza con recupero di calore, finalizzata alla decarbonizzazione e alla riduzione delle emissioni di CO₂. Il nuovo impianto è stato configurato con una rete a 4 tubi e terminali a ventilconvettori (fan coil), consentendo la gestione simultanea del riscaldamento e del raffrescamento per ogni singola zona, migliorando il comfort ambientale e l’efficienza energetica. Questa soluzione si integra con le iniziative del programma ILLVA Sustainability Path, che mira a ridurre l’impatto ambientale e a promuovere l’uso di energie rinnovabili. #LuxuryHotelEngineering In the heart of Milan, between Piazza San Babila and Corso Indipendenza, the former Cinema Arti, a 1930s building, is set to become the second Italian location of Soho House, the renowned private members’ club for creatives. The project involves transforming the building into an exclusive club-hotel, featuring over 50 rooms, member spaces, a gym, a swimming pool, a rooftop, and an internal courtyard. Rethink Energy Srl provided technical consultancy to the operator, focusing on the review of the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design to ensure compliance with Soho House’s high-quality and functional standards. The scope included analyzing proposed MEP solutions to confirm they met the operational and comfort requirements of the club, as well as adhering to applicable regulations. The project, designed by Lissoni & Partners, involved the conservative restoration and addition of a new floor to the former school building, aiming to blend historical elegance with contemporary hospitality standards. Rethink Energy Srl played a pivotal role in the peer review and value engineering of the mechanical, electrical, and special systems, ensuring that the design solutions met the highest standards of energy efficiency and sustainability, in line with the LEED certification targeted for the building. The hotel spans approximately 13,000 m² and features 116 rooms, common areas, a spa, two restaurants, and a British-style private club. The project required meticulous planning to integrate advanced technological systems within a protected structure, while ensuring maximum comfort for guests. Il progetto, firmato dallo studio Lissoni & Partners, ha previsto il restauro conservativo e la sopraelevazione dell’ex sede scolastica, con l’obiettivo di coniugare l’eleganza storica con standard contemporanei di ospitalità. Rethink Energy Srl ha svolto un ruolo chiave nella peer review e nel value engineering degli impianti meccanici, elettrici e speciali, assicurando che le soluzioni progettuali rispettassero i più alti standard di efficienza energetica e sostenibilità, in linea con la certificazione LEED prevista per l’edificio. L’hotel si estende su una superficie di circa 13.000 m² e comprende 116 camere, aree comuni, una spa, due ristoranti e un club privato in stile britannico.
