The project includes the installation of a new cogeneration unit to cover basic needs for the pools’ heating and sanitary hot water. Homizy’s objective is to address Milan’s growing demand for accommodation by creating newresidential models inspired by the sharing economy and sustainability.Rethink Energy designed the mechanical, power, electrical and special systems forthe new 200 bedrooms student dorm in via Bistolfi, Milan, next to Città Studi. It alsotook care of the project management and MEP works coordination and direction.Heat pumps and solar thermal were the two high-efficiency technologies chosen tocontain consumption and raise the sustainability profile of the building.
