URBAN HIVE HOTEL

The Urban Hive Hotel is an exclusive 4 stars boutique hotel in the heart of Milan’s
Brera district, born from the radical restyling of the historic Carlyle Brera in Corso
Garibaldi.
The newly conceived hotel is the result of an evolution process that involved the
whole of the hospitality industry in the past years, aiming at transforming hotel
facilities into multi-functional spaces that are open to the city.
Hybridisation is the key word here as this innovative building features hybrid spaces
that are accessible also to non-guests, such as the breakfast room which, past a
certain hour, becomes a co-working space, or the the gym that doubles as a relax
area, with a cafeteria that can be used for informal meetings and receptions.
Starting from this ground-breaking conception, we designed the mechanical,
electrical and special systems of the entire 7-storey building.
The use of heat recovery heat-pump technology and of advanced control systems
ensured a very high level of functionality which, together with design and creativity,
make this project eminently contemporary.
