The Peru pavilion was one of the top attractions among the 192 stands at Expo Dubai 2020: it won the Gold award in category B for autonomously designed and built pavilions. It even featured an impressive reproduction of the Kuélap walls, a pre-Colombian archeological site standing at a 3.000 m altitude, and second only to Macchu Picchu in terms of historic relevance. The pavilion also won the World Expo Award in the People’s Choice category as the public’s preferred pavillion. Rethink Energy designed the pavilion’s mechanical, electrical and special installations.
