CAVOTEC SPECIMAS SPA

Cavotec Specimas SpA is a multinational company specialised in the manufacturing
of lifting and handling equipment.
For their new 150-staff warehouse located in Nova Milanese, we built a new
heating/cooling system based on heat-pumps featuring full inverter magnetic
levitation centrifugal compressors with groundwater condensation. A latest
generation system ensuring exceptional performance.
To maximise sustainability we used geothermal energy and eco-friendly HFO R-
1234ze refrigerant, which has an extremely low Global Warming Potential: 7 versus
a GWP of 2.800 for the traditional R 407 refrigerants.
Rethink Energy was in charge of designing the mechanical, power, electrical and
special installations, as well as of the project management and the direction and
coordination of MEP works.
