QUINTOSOLE

Quintosole is a project of Daniele Fiori Partners. The building stands on a 14.000 sqm area.

“A journey back in time… in a rural community typical of the 1960’s, located in the Quintosole neighbourhood, in the Southern part of Milan.

Here the new residential project finds its inspiration in the rural dwellings of the Po valley, and in the ancient Roman land division which is still partly visibile in the countryside. The project addresses the need to make residential space more human, both for the size of the building itself and for the quality of the open space which, when appropriately sized and articulated, becomes a meeting place for the community of residents and a facilitating element for social relations.” From a DFA study
